revamped thesis : instead of the hub being placed first and sending the satellites out to reconstruct; the satellites the dictating elements on the site. They are the first to appear when disaster relief is needed. Like many donation companies they set up and make a city tourist hub, to generate money to help fund the rebuilding ( habitat for humanity). from there they send the satellites which act as construction trailers on the site to the volunteers.

Generally projects proposed are made to function in its simplest form with indigenous materials. this theory can be used for the satellites because they are eventually going to be removed, but for the tourist hub that is going to be built I think it should be designed as a more permanent structure to display investment and interest.

what I am working on now is investigating different strategies used by these companies ( global arch, habitat, open arch network, UNESCO) to see how they would go about designing for countries and how they use materials to their fullest. Taking that information will help me design for the program the satellites hold as well as the hub. Im also deciding what is really temporary and does it deserve to be designed "temporary".

I'm also working on program to see how the satellites can work with both the hub and the companies. What is needed, how it functions, and its inhabitants.
